Join Niskanen’s Policy Fellow Program – Immigration Policy Fellow [$3500/month stipend]


 Program Overview:

The Niskanen Center is seeking a dedicated and motivated Immigration Policy Fellow to support its vision for a more open immigration system. The fellow will contribute research and writing assistance on U.S. immigration policy, focusing on developing bipartisan policy proposals. This fellowship offers an immersive experience for graduate students or young professionals to explore the impact of think tanks on public policy.

Program Description:
The fellowship is aimed at graduate students or young professionals, offering a six-month termed position with a possible extension for another six months. Fellows will gain experience influencing public policy, publishing work, and representing Niskanen to external audiences, including coalition partners and Capitol Hill staff.

Position Description:
The Immigration Policy Fellow will:
– Support Niskanen’s vision for a more open immigration system.
– Develop policy proposals appealing to a bipartisan audience.
– Contribute research and writing on various aspects of U.S. immigration policy.
– Engage in tasks such as summarizing academic papers, collaborating on research memos, and networking with experts.
